Camp Hope is a retreat for military veterans wounded in the War on Terror. William “Mike” White and his wife Galia, created Camp Hope as a tribute to their son Christopher, who was killed fighting for our country in Iraq.
The mission of Camp Hope is to honor the fallen by helping the wounded. We offer all expenses paid adventures and comradery for our service men and women that gave selflessly for our freedoms.
Situated in rural Farmington, Missouri, approximately 80 miles south of St. Louis, Camp Hope is located in the heartland of America. With cool streams, winding creeks, granite boulders, gravel paths, tall trees and an abundance of wildlife, there is plenty of open space.
Camp Hope offers beautiful rolling hills and hardwood ridges, perfect for hiking, four-wheeling, hunting, fishing, and exploring. Visits by our honored guests often center around deer and turkey seasons and we’re proud of our first-rate facilities for our combat-wounded veterans — in ADA-approved, handicapped accessible cabins.
A retreat in every sense of the word: numerous State and National Parks surround the area, offering Camp Hope guests a myriad of activities, such as camping, fishing, canoeing, hiking and all-things nature. On the grounds of Camp Hope, technology is left behind to allow nature in. Bonding takes place through face-to-face conversations in the woods, around the fire pit, or at our centralized Lodge.
