Argent Technologies, LLC is seeking a General Medicine Physicians for positions at Federal Correctional Institutions in Indiana and California.

FCI TERRE HAUTE, IN

Base Period: October 1, 2023 through 12 months
Option Years: 4

Schedule
Monday through Friday- 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
36 hours per week
Contractor visits to the institutions will be scheduled by the Health Services Administrator. The contractor will be scheduled for (4) to (7) sessions per day, with sessions defined as (1) hour in duration.

Qualifications*

  • Must be fully licensed where required by law.
  • Board Certified or have equivalent experience to be considered an expert in the field of medicine.
  • Musty be knowledgeable about medical/legal aspects of patient care in a penal environment. Additionally, the individual must have a working knowledge of policy, procedures, and standards prescribed by the AAAHC, Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, American Correctional Association, and the U.S. Courts.
  • Must provide 3 letters of reference.

FCI HERLONG, CA

Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Herlong, Health Services Department, located at 741-925 Access Road A-25, Herlong, CA 96113

15 months

Qualifications*

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • Possess a current US state license to practice medicine, without restrictions.
  • Possess and maintain current BLS.

Health Requirements

  • At a minimum, the medical personnel provided by the contractor shall be free of physical defects or medical conditions which might reasonably be expected to place other workers, patients, or public at risk.
  • As a condition of this contract, all contractor employees who will have patient contract or exposure to biological and pathological specimens shall be immunized against, be granted an immunization waiver, or have documented proof of immunity to rubeola, rubella, mumps, polio, and hepatitis B. In addition, all Contractor employees shall be free of infectious diseases (such as active tuberculosis and viral hepatitis) which might reasonably be expected to place other workers, patients, or the public at risk.

Schedule

Monday through Friday — excluding Federal Holidays — between the hours of 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
