Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse - United States Marshals Service (USMS)

Argent Technologies, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse to provide professional occupational medical and nursing services to support the Human Resources Division, Office of Health Administration, United States Marshals Service (USMS), Arlington, VA. These services shall include physician and nurse review of various occupational medical examinations and consultations performed by physician and/or healthcare practitioners and form an opinion of the actual examination findings. The licensed professional(s) must work independently when reviewing completed examinations in order to form a recommendation regarding fit for duty. Work shall be performed on-site at the USMS Headquarters building, Arlington VA.
Qualifications*
The medical and nursing professionals must have experience in occupational medicine and the reviewing of medical examinations based on the medical requirements of law enforcement personnel.
Contractors must be able to work independently in the review of medical examinations and the knowledge/skill to make recommendations in their respective discipline.
Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:
- Graduate of Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
- Experience in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice
- Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice nursing in Virginia
- Possess and maintain current BLS for Healthcare Providers
- (Preferred) Three (3) years of experience providing medical suitability recommendations for law enforcement candidates and incumbents
Register Nurse (RN) Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the state of Virginia
- Two years of postgraduate clinical experience as a RN
- Possess and maintain current BLS for Healthcare Providers
- (Highly Preferred) Three (3) years of experience providing medical suitability recommendations for law enforcement candidates and incumbents
Hours of Performance:
The Contractor shall be available to work 8 hours per day during the period of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except on Federal holidays, for meetings and consultations. Work requires to be onsite, however, telework will provided as deemed necessary, e.g., weather closures.
In the event of an emergency, the Contractor shall provide contact information for relevant corporate personnel before, during, and after business hours.
There is no paid travel for the Contractor.
